Skaneateles, NY -- From fine art and oak furniture to vintage hunting and fishing gear, the Skaneateles United Methodist Church Antique Show continued its 54-year tradition this weekend at the Austin Park Pavilion in Skaneateles. With more than 70 dealers and 40 artisans from across New York and neighboring states, the show offered antique aficionados an unique shopping experience. Antique appraisals were offered on both Friday and Saturday for a small fee.
The antique show is also a fundraiser for the church. "We use it as a way of putting on our church programming, our mission work," said antique dealer chair Shari Ross. "It becomes a tradition of goodwill in the community."
Apart from the dealers and artisans, Ross said that there is an anticipated turnout of more than 1700 attendees over both days.
