New Zealand Cricket extends assistant coach Woodhill?s contract

Auckland, June 13(ANI): New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has extended the contract of assistant coach Trent Woodhill.

Woodhill will now continue in the role until October 2012.

NZC Director of Cricket John Buchanan said that he was thrilled to have the services of Woodhill to support coach John Wright.

?Trent has forged a strong and successful relationship with John and indeed the entire Black Caps unit. He has been recognized as a key influence behind the team's remarkable fielding performance at the cricket World Cup,? Stuff.co.nz quoted Buchanan, as saying.

Woodhill?s next assignment will be with the New Zealand A squad for winter training and the emerging players tournament in Brisbane next month.
