As a caregiver busy, find recipes that are quick to make, the foods your family will love, something a little different from time to time and budget something nice.

1. Waikiki meatballs

? 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Put a large pot of salted water to boil. Cut tops from peppers and remove seeds. Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes and drain. Sprinkle salt inside each pepper, and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, saute beef and onion for 5 minutes or until meat is browned. Drain the excess fat and season with salt and pepper. Add tomatoes, rice, water 1 / 2 cup Worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat and add cheese.

3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. (175 degrees C). Stuff each pepper with meat mixture and rice and place peppers open side up in a baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine tomato soup with enough water to make soup consistency sauce. Pour over peppers.

4. Bake covered for 25 to 35 minutes, until hot and cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Hamburger Soup

1 pound ground cooked meat is rinsed
1 can diced tomatoes />
1 pound frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, green beans)
1 / 2 red onion
beef stock to fill crock pot
spices to taste garlic powder, salt and pepper, and other favorites
7. Jamaica Macaroni

2 cups (8 ounces) elbow macaroni
1 pound extra-lean meat
1 cup carrots
Spacious green bell pepper
1 large onion
1 can (14 1 / 2 ounces) diced tomatoes
1 / 4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1 / 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
1 / 2 teaspoon pepper
1 / 4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Cook macaroni as directed on the box.

Cut carrots into 1 / 4 inch circles, then the seeds and chop peppers.

Cook beef in skillet over high heat. Break the meat, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, finish cutting the carrots and chop the pepper. When meat is browned add the carrots partially and pepper to skillet and stir well. Peel and chop the onion thick, adding to the pan and cut.

Add tomatoes and their juice, the English, garlic powder, seasoning salt, black pepper and hot sauce.

Stir, then continue cooking, stirring frequently, to soften the vegetables and thicken the sauce, 7 minutes.

As soon as the macaroni is tender, drain and set aside until sauce is thickened. Then add to the pan, stir well to coat with sauce and serve.

8. Wonton soup.

Ingredients:
? 18 to 24 won ton wrappers
? Filling:
? 1 / 2 pound ground beef, browned and drained
? 1 tablespoon soy sauce
? 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
? a few drops of sesame oil
? 1 teaspoon sherry
? 1 / 2 teaspoon sugar
? 1 green onion, finely chopped
? 1 teaspoon cornstarch
? 2 pinches of white pepper
? Other
? Won ton water to boil
? 4 1 / 2 to 5 cups chicken stock
? green onions, thinly sliced, as desired />

Preparation:

Combine all filling ingredients in a bowl, mix well. Place ? 1 ton skin in front of you. Cover the remainder of cattle skin tones with a damp towel to prevent drying.

Boiling the won tons:

Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add the won tons, making sure there is enough space to move freely. Boil the won tons of 5-8 minutes, until they rise to the surface and the filling is cooked through. Remove from pan with slotted spoon.

To make the soup: bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the won tons and bring the soup to a boil. Add green onion, remove from heat and add sesame oil, stirring. Serve in soup bowls, allowing 6 won tons per person.

9. Lion?s head meatballs

Ingredients:

? 1 pound bok choy, cabbage Beijing (Napa cabbage), or spinach />

? 1 large egg
? 1 pound pork
? 3 / 4 teaspoon salt
? 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
? 2 1 / 2 teaspoons dry sherry pale
? 3 tablespoons soy sauce, divided
? 1 / 2 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
? Black or white pepper to taste, optional />
? 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
? 1 1 / 2 cups chicken broth

Preparation:

1. Wash and drain bok choy or other greens. Cut crosswise into strips 3 inches. Mince the ginger and spring onions.

2. In a small bowl, whisk the egg with a fork. In a medium bowl, mix ground pork with green onion, ginger, salt, sugar, dry sherry, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, Asian sesame oil, if using pepper and egg using your fingers to mix the ingredients. Add corn starch is necessary to do so that the mixture is too wet. (Start with two tablespoons and then add a teaspoon at a time).

3. Form ground pork into 4 large meatballs. Flatten slightly, so they are not completely round.

4. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. When oil is hot, add meatballs 4. Cook for 5 minutes until browned on the bottom. Turn and cook the other side (adjust heat if the meatballs are cooked too fast).

5. In a saucepan or flameproof casserole that is large enough to hold the meatballs, heat the chicken broth and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce to a boil.

6. Add meatballs, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Add the bok choy. (You can arrange the bok choy on top of the meatballs so that the vapors, or impair any right in the broth if there is space). Simmer for another 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through and no pink in the middle.

To serve Lion?s Head meatballs, serve each dumpling on a small plate around the greens, or in soup bowls with some of the bok choy and broth. You can also thicken some of the wines with a cornstarch and water thickener and pour over meatballs.

10. Crock Pot Sloppy Joes

2 pounds ground beef
1-2 packets of onion soup, />
Splashes of red wine vinegar and balsamic vinegar
Salt, pepper and garlic powder, etc.
